Spoleto oil

This has been my go to oil ever since returned from Spoleto where I first tasted it. To my knowledge you are the only retailer carrying it and I have been consistently buying it from Low Country. Keep on stocking it:-))

I must admit the reason I purchased this initially is because of the large amount of polyphenols in this oil, making it very heart healthy. My cholesterol has come down naturally using it, and my heart scan was perfect. I use it daily, for salads, dipping, roasting veggies, just about everything I cook. Order the spout! It is well worth it, and you have more control over the amount you pour.

When we were in Spoleto we brought olive oil from there after. Tasting it; I was so happy to order this one and find out the flavor is nearly the same - strong, with a bit of bitter tone, very deep and rich. It is a very niche olive oil - Spoleto is quite a small and tight commune and olives from that area have quite a distinct flavor. Very quick delivery and nice wrapping.

I was served this as a dipping oil along with Ciabatta bread at a fine dining establishmentI inquired about the brand and proceeded with my search. After a taste it seemed to be the same product. Delicious ! Looking forward to a nice crusty bread to accompany this tasty, sweet, with a slight bite olive oil. The best I've tried.
